So after getting rid of all the trash and cleaning the insides. I take a look under the hood. I knew the motor was trashed, but it was a complete 305 and 350 lockup transmission.I looked over the body again to find trouble spots (RUST). I found a few nothing major to keep me from going foward with my build.

I have to take it slow because I have shallow pockets.lol. So 1 piece or a part at a time. After the look over I noticed all the panels were in decent shape except for the B-pillars which were all brittle and falling apart. S o i found some from a 84 box chevy for $20 bucks.

I had created a list for the things that I wanted to and need to do. The plan was to get the 305 and transmission rebuilt. But as faith had it . I came across a 95-97 5.7 350. My B-Law just gave it to me. It was basically a block with heads and a crank. I called my long friend from Fort Worth who went to pick upthe block

Looks like a good start, man.
Do the B-pillar plastics from the box Chevy fit ? When I think of box Chevy I'm thinking an '80's Chevy Caprice....unless they came off of a 4-dr G-body. They look like the right ones in the pic.
Getting the 350 longblock from your bro-in-law is a good score.
You'll be out there running around in no time.
Keep us up to date on your progress.

But a deal came across my path that I couldnt pass up. I know that there are a lot of you guys that big wheels offend you, But the the good thing about it is that its my wagon .lmao So youll never have to deal with ithem. lmao Just kidding but true. IYou have to understand that i had plans for this 2year in advance before I even got the wagon I did my research thoroughly . I measured and measured again and again. My max backspacing was 5". So the wheels I got for $400 are DUBs 22x11 rear and 22 x 9.5 front but the backspacing was a +20 which is 6.5 bs. So i did something else that might offend some of you guys and got me some Billet aluminum studde spacer. Since I cant really afford to notch my frame. I'm not lowering the wagon so I'm happy with my purchase The rear wheel will set fender flesh. and the wagon will set about 2" taller than it did on the standard 15" wheels with tires.
