Guys,

I have an 83 H/O with a tired 307. I am about to put in a mildly built 403 that has an aluminum Edelbrock Performer intake and a mild cam. I have order a high volume water and fuel pump for it. Then a set of 1 5/8" headers. But my question is currently there is an 1" spacer with a Holley carb on the motor. I know I am going to have some clearance issues with the carb and spacer. So I am going with a 1/2" spacer and an Edelbrock 1407 ( 750 cfm ) carb. But I wanted to make 1 last attempt to see about a comparable Q-jet carb. Where is the best place to find one...especially knowing that I can't use the stock Q-jet from my 307.
