guys, welding frame notch panels, used D7 on my migpack 15... Do I use a lower heat/wire speed to hit pin hole areas to seal them up or what do I do? Thanks

Yes but not so low that you only lay turds on it. You can almost do it with little tacks is so you don't heat it up a lot and blow through it. Just make sure like I said that it is actually forming a good weld and not just blobbing turds on top.

I'd suggest finding a scrap piece the same thickness as the panel and trying it out to get the temp/speed just right. I've never used that exact welder, so I can't comment on those settings, but I'd probably be looking somewhere around the 60-70 amp range, and not too much feed, and more of a pulse to it (on/off/on/off) but everyone welds a little different.

This is exactly what I ended up doing... Bunch of on/off tack like welds... I was blowing through earlier welds keeping it on those, trying to build a puddle, but no luck.... In some areas where I did blow thorough, I had to cut scrap, tack and then weld that into the made hole.... Tried to get as much coverage as possible as the frame is getting powdercoated and I can't "skim" all-metal or similar for fear it will melt... Learned a lot and glad this is just the frame so no score for beauty!!
