My first event with the 85 442. Bought her back around Thanksgiving.

Did a lot of maintenance on it and sourced the original wheels. Got new tires this past week, so she was ready to show off.

I’m pumped and I love this car.

About all I have. It’s not show car but clean for a driver.

Nice looking survivor! Appears there's a lot of originality in that car. A couple of things I noticed was the original A/C hose, original grilles, what appears to be the black plastic trim around the windshield inside the bright molding, fan shroud emission decal, and it still has the front license plate holder (a miracle) apparently needing a bit of help to still hang on. Wheels look great!

I have a special love for 85 442s. Especially the black ones.

Wait...you say it's not a show car, yet it's picture shows it in a car show...and the title of the thread is first car show...let's see what Richard Dawson says about that...

Yea it’s all pretty much original. Thanks again for the center caps. I only part I cheated on was the breather. It’s not 100 percent original yet. The previous owner siliconed a reusable one to the bottom side of breather housing. So I kept the non 442 bottom side breather on. Until I figure out how to remove the one siliconed on.

Yea haven’t tackled the front license plate either. Zip ties were how it came.
