FIT F-body headers in a G-body???

HAS ANYONE DONE THIS??? i was just offered a brand new set of F-BODY headers for my monte... problem is, I DONT KNOW IF THEY WILL FIT... and if they do fit how much of a pain in the *ss will it be? where are the points it will get caught on? or will they just drop right in... my buddy bought em for his sons car, but when he tried to put them in the collecter was hitting... i figured if it hits in my car, i have a couple torches that i could heat em and try n bend em a little more... am i being overly optimistic? any help is VERY APPRECIATED...

its an 82 monte with a 350, 2004R trans... headers have 2.5" collectors...

I really doubt they would fit without A LOT of modification.
There's a reason they make headers specific to each make and model. 😉

You have a pic of them ? Not sure if this helps, if it's an older f body they may work,I got headers on my 84 that were SUPPOSED to go on a 79 fireturd not sure the brand,an i had to dent the passenger side in A LITTLE to clear the a arm,drivers side was hitting the stock shift linkage,i just bent it ,now i got a floor shifter

they were purchased for a third gen camaro... i think...

I know alot of the Fbody big block headers will fit in a g body but not sure about small blocks. G body small block headers are cheap why not just buy new ones that are made for your car?

I have headers off of a 1970 Camaro on my car. Had to trim a little off passenger side a frame but other than that they fit fine.

SUPPOSED to go on a 79 firebird not sure if they are for one but here' pics of them on, way back when i was running a 305

thanks guys, i would just re-use the edelbrocks i have but they have all the extra pipes on them, guessing its smog crap, and they are rusty as all hell... as for buying new ones, i have $1.54 left in the bank till i get my unemployment check on tuesday, BUT, the off season is finally over and i go back to work next week... i would buy a set this tuesday, but i have to buy an intake off someone on this site... have i memtioned this build put me about a grand in debt so far...
