Other than the Yenko stripes. It really doesn't look like a bad car. I like the paint, the M80 spoiler, the steelies, the drivetrain, interior . It does look like a lot of money went into it.
I recall seeing a Malibu coupe when the Power Tour came thru here years back. It also had the Yenko stripes, but also looked like an afterthought. But at least this guy applied the stripes in a better fashion...except for over the decklid.

....nice bubble gum welds on the roll bar.....

Yeah, those caught my eye as well. I kinda dig the theme of the car, but the booger welds on the cage totally ruin it for me.

I'm most curious about the 4 speed Dual/Gate setup as well. Id love that exact setup in my Monte. I know the 4 speed version is referred to as the Dual/Gate 2 in some cases and the only ones I've seen are for 3rd gen Camaros.
And WHERE did he ever find a 4-speed Hurst dual-gate? I know they made them, but they quickly got hard to find.
you can still get one from "the parts place". here is their eBay site,
http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...0001&campid=5335822911&icep_item=331615641264

i have accumulated two of these, one used and one new, for future projects.
