Floor mounted brake pedal?

Has anyone ever used floor mounted brake pedal/master cylinder combo in a street driven car? I plan to and have most of the install planned out, just looking for some feedback if any of you have ever used this set up.

Basicly wondering things like how did it work out for bias?
Did you have to run a proportioning valve or was the adjustment sufficent using the balence bar?
Any unexpected problems in your usage?

My car is a back halved 78 M/C, 2.38" calipers on front and ? wheel cylinders on back (9" FoMoCo big drums)
I chose 7/8' master cylinders.
I have residual valves 2 and 10 psi respectively.
I also plan on "T"ing the lines and putting brake line pressure guages in.
