flywheel cover

my car doesnt have the cover for the flywheel. wondering if all the transmission covers are the same or if they are specific to the transmission. my 84 cutlass has the 305 and the 3 speed im assuming its the 200 but the transmission pan doesnt say anything on it that im used to seeing (metric, hydromatic etc, just an "X" through the middle maybe somone can tell me which one it is. ) but help with the cover question is appreciated

You're thinking is correct...theyre all different. Do some research on aftermarket suppliers.

Or, just go to the junkyard and pull one, along with the bolts that hold it on.
