My new idler arm didn't come with a foam washer for the center link. O'Reilly's had a center link so I looked in their box and it has them. Where can I get one of these suckers without buying a center link? The one on there won't look too nice after I apply the tie rod splitter. I have some foam from a home air conditioner filter. Anyone think if I doubled it up it'll work?

I don't understand why it's foam in the first place. How does that thing stay intact when the idler arm and center link are scrapping around under all that pressure? Doesn't grease destroy foam?
