Unfortunately, I need to drive my Monte all year, in all weather, in New York. To make it easier to see where I'm going, I'd really like to add some fog lights, but I don't know where to mount them. Has anybody done/seen this? Pics would be great

How about HID's, a lot brighter then the factory head lights and then you wouldn't have to find a spot for fog lights. I love mine, and I think it updates the car a little.

If you get a good size you could try locating then inbehind the grill. My cousin did it with street glow and it looked good and I plan to do it with my s10 because then they wont be noticed but should still help visibility.

Both of those ideas are good, but the closer the lights are to the ground, the better you can see the road in a snowstorm.

I'm not sure how the Monte front license plate mount is. I have a Regal and what I did was mount a set to the underside of the plate bracket.

Best picture I have of it when I had them on:

Mine is screwed right to the front of the nose, so that won't work. I'm thinking about cutting my turn signals in half and mounting a fog light next to the min the same opening.

My car is put away, so I can't get pics easily. I mounted a piece of flat iron to the bottom of my core support, between it and the air deflector. It's about 1.5 in wide and 6 in long. It sticks out about 4 inches and I hung the fog lights under them. I wired the lights on a relay switched inside the car and powered my the light circuit. That way they work with the rest of the lights, but I can still switch them off if desired. You can see one of them in the pic.

I following this post very closely because I'm considering fog lights, or hid's on my regal.

I have HID and run the 4300K, they work real well in fog and rain and show more in every type of weather than the 6000K I use to run
