my friend just finished his 78 cutlass build with a olds 350. it ran great
this wk we just put in a bigger amp alternator to support a electric fan. within 10 minutes his plugs fouled. changed plugs and it did it again. would the alternator fry the dist or something else in ign. or should he go 1 hotter plug

thanks.

I'm the friend he's talking about. It seems to be gas fouling the plugs. I got a hotter plug. Same results.

What carb do you have and what's the jetting?
