The car is sitting in a junk yard. It has bucket seats, manual windows, floor shifter, 5.0 liter engine. I don't know what kind of transmission it has though.

What rear end came in these cars? What kind of transmission?

What other parts will fit my 1982 Buick Regal? I want the bucket seats, Manual windows with out a doubt but might consider other parts if they fit..

If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Rear would be a 7.5 and the trans should be 200R4 overdrive.

It could be posi it was offered as an option. It the tag inside the trunk lid is there look for G80 that's the RPO code for positraction.

Ah cool thanks. The guy is 95 years old and runs the junk yard. It is very small and I asked his son if he has a 442, he said no cars like that. I looked at the corner and there it was......I was there by accident cause my friend is looking for a project truck, very rare in our area and they had one,lol...

So the interior,,,door parts and stuff will fit the regal too, right?

Yes they should fit, if your using the interior door panels they just might have different trim.

Thats OK, I am doing orange and black tweed in my car anyway. I just want the crank windows instead of power.

The doors interchange, if they're clean, you should grab 'em.

It's most likely a 200-4R, but it could still be a metric 200 or TH350. Whether the shifter plate has 3 or 4 speeds will be the tell tale.

The buckets will bolt right in if you have a split bench now.

Sounds better and better. I can swap the front end from it onto my regal too right??? The only problem is the hood is rotted on it. I should have looked at the shifter plate,DOH!!!!

I have the split bench so that's good. There are so many parts I want off this car,,,,I could even put the column in my Regal and have the right one for a floor shifter.

I could also rebuild the engine too if it needs it and put it aside or sell it.......I am hoping the guy will let the whole car go for like $500. It is sunk in mud and the frame is almost on the ground. It has some nice 14 inch aluminum rims on it, pitted a little, not sure if they are factory or not but could clean them up and either use them or sell them. They are almost a solid rim with like 5 or 6 oval cutouts on the, hard to explain.

The front clip from a Cutlass will fit a Regal, no problem. The doors are the same, so it should be fine. However, it will look awful because the wheel arches are different shapes and styles, which will give it away. The 88 Cutlass header panel and headlights are a valuable find though. I looked for one I could afford for years with no luck.
