found a corvette

so i found a corvette in my friends back yard. have no idea whether its a 96 or late 80s. vin comes up as a 87(i think, i forgot) but the body is of a 96. they could have switched it up. not to sure yet.
well anyways, i see it has a nice set of a baer disc brake system in the front, i was wondering if maybe i can take the off and adapt to my 85 el camino with minor conversions.

Thats what I thought, two different cars Maybe he was thinking 86 or 87

i made a typo sorry. lol, well i actually thought thats when the body changed. but i was off by a year.
97 body. but the vin of a 87 corvette. idk what they were doing to the vette.
im just trying to find out about brakes.

I have c5 calipers + rotors with my blazer spindles. 13", fourth gen's may be a similar swap.
