Frame / Chassis

Hey... I was recently in a Car Wreak which resulted in the Frame/ Chassis of My 80' Malibu being badly damaged. I’m looking to replace the frame but I’m unsure if all G-bodies are the same. I know early models had a shorter front end (78-81) and the later years were longer (82-88). PLEASE HELP.

I have a 86 Regal frame under my 79 Cutlass. I believe the only frames that won't work under your car are the Wagon's and El Camino's frames.

Im thinking the 79 cutlass is the same as my 80 malibu

found a 4 door 83 Malibu for $300, was able to use the frame as well as other parts... The Bu will live to see another day.

The horn rails vary for each sub model. Also earlier frames don't have provisions for 200r4 crossmembers while later frame do.
