Yeah, I noticed that it was hotter in NYC than it was here in Flori-duh. . It's been an extremely hot summer and I welcome the break in weather.
I have also noticed that the whole eastern seaboard has been experiencing hotter than normal temps.
My grass is getting crispy. We’ve only had like maybe an inch of rain in a couple of months. And not all at once. I normally beetch about too much rain but I’m getting a little concerned about the water table and my well pump going dry. So far so good. Still keeping an eye out though.
Same way in Louisville! Sitting at 92 right now, burn ban in effect with an unknown expiration date. It's going to cool off tomorrow though, so looking forward to it!
Also, the most awesome weather guy here posted a chart showing last September as the wettest in recorded history, this Sept. as the driest in recorded history!
