I don't deny climate change. It changes every day. I simply don't believe all the BS that NON-scientists espouse about how we're all going to die from it. One "unexplainable by mere mortals" event does not a climate change end-of-the-world prophecy make.
If the global warming group (Wait, I meant "climate change group". They found out that wasn't accurate so they had to change names) wants real change, then why isn't that little Swedish propagandist puppet in Russia or China complaining to them about doing something about climate change? Like the world's going to get their climate change inspirations from a kid, now? Seriously? She's the best resource they got? No, they only want to complain to people that won't throw them in jail for claims and rants based on mostly, or purely, anecdotal evidence. Rants aren't discussions. Rants don't change minds.
When I see droves of real scientists coming out en masse to warn us of an existential threat due to weather, maybe I'll listen. But I got a feeling I'll be dead and gone LONG before that happens.
This is what, the 30th year that we'll all be dead in 12 years if only one country doesn't hand over bazillions of dollars to do something about this so-called climate change? I'm not denying that people can be more responsible for the environment, but unless you get EVERYONE on board, only milking a few countries for $$ ain't going to do it.
If banning straws and plastic bottles at airports make about 40 people sleep better at night, I'm ok with it. I have more respect for those guys that sell bracelets to help fund their ACTIONS to clean up the oceans. Although a futile attempt as it only treats the symptoms and not the source, it is noble in theory.
TIP: You never convince anyone to join you when you're admonishing them and acting all pi$$ed off while doing it.
GRRRR!!! Join me or you only have 12 years to live!
