I was told that my wheels must of come from a Delta ( because of the 4.25 backspacing). I really don't know if there was more than one backspacing used on these wheels or if the profile of the outer rim is the same on all of the 15" SSII wheels. It would be good to have this info though. I through a fit when the 15" wheels would not fit. I even made up some new cuss words, or maybe I was talking in tongues. :lol: :lol: :lol:


Sorry to hear that Larry. I have the factory 442 SS III rims on my 86' and they fit fine. You could always buy an aftermarket set and go with those.

I'm going to use my 14"x6" wheels with 225/70 tires that will work well with the 255/60-15 on the rear. It may help my times at the track a little with less weight and resistance.
