I have noticed something loose in my front end the last 2 days either a ball joint, steering related. i havent even jacked it up yet cause its been raining a BUNCH.. anyways i kind of just want to replace all ball joints and mabey a new steering arm kit. any one have suggestions on brands and prices? i also was looking into springs. if i get eibach lowering springs will they work on a 81 cutlass cruiser brougham? and will stock shocks work with the lowering springs? im planning on replacing all this soon just dont know where to get my parts, i dont really want to go through the local parts stores. Dreaming of tubular arms and nice shocks but im leaving the stock a arms for now. just need balljoints,springs(1-2'' drop) steering rebuild and shocks.

i plan on doing mine next month too. im going thru advance auto parts, thats where i got my commercial acct. and i plan on getting moog steering parts and ball joints. i just bought some monroe shocks cuz i dont wanna go aftermarket on the suspension since i wont go to the track much. just setting it up for a daily driver. i got quoted right under 250 with my shop discount. for moog idler and pitman, inners and outer tie rods and adjusting sleeves, center link, sway bar bushings, and endlinks, and all 4 ball joints. but walk its gonna cost a quite a bit more for moog stuff. prob a good 100 bucks more.

what about spohn? anyone order there steering kit? thinking about gettin it

You guys might want to give www.rockauto.com a try. I've had great luck with them. The only time the cost adds up is when you have to order from multiple warehouses....driving up shipping costs obviously.

I did all that eibach 1" drop springs from a performance shop got the best price and napa for ball joints and tierods idler. That was all for my 79 elky , I have since swapped everything over to my 87 ss and more poly bushings with stock contol arms (lack of funds) and tubular rear control arms (had rear out went bad). IMO its well worth it except on monte I want it just a tick lower in the front, do your price shopping and go for it you'll be glad you did
ps I use UMI Performance contoll arms.

I just got the whole rear set myself since they had a Thanksgiving sale recently. I haven't installed them yet but I keep hearing good things.
