ok i have been searching around the net for about 2 months now trying to find some wheel sizes for my cutlass... so far i was able to find that 15x8 with 4" bs is good for rear but i cant find ANYTHING reliable for the fronts!!!!!!!!! i am sticking with 15's in front wondering if i should run a 15x8 or 15x7? and how much backspacing... wheel im looking at is the riddler prostar... can anyone point me in a direction?

the chrome rally wheels that came on the 442 and hurst were 15x7 with 4" backspacing. i would assume that would be a good size for the front. I dont think id go 8 wide in the front.

kinda hoping to keep it 15x8 has anyone been able to fit an 8 under there and if so backspacing? i appreciate your reply, i might end up with that but just want to doulbe check before i throw this order in

Generally 235/60/15s fit like a glove & 245/615s are at the edge where you start to get rub with some bumps & at lock. Both of which fit well on a 15x7 so its not like you would have a need or much benefit by moving to a 15x8 up front.

I run 16x8 with 245-50 tires with a 4.5" back space and the tires would rub the sway bar at full lock...I now run a Z steering box so with it's shorter stops the tires no longer rub

what kind of back spacing you talking on those 15x7

Factory GN & 442 wheels. I think 4" backspaceing.

so its pretty safe to say 15x7's will work with 4" b.s and any specific tire size?

is it just me or is it very hard to find a decent tire in a 245/60/15 or 235/60/15

www.tirerack.com Not saying they have the best price after shipping but there website is great. You can see pics get info prices etc. On there site you can see both Firestone Firehawks RWL & BFG RWL in a 235/60/15. Sams club or Wallmart also have good prices if you can get the tire you want.
