I would like to run...275/40/18 up front using Nitto NT555 G2Tire diameter and section width play a big role in what does or doesn't work. Wheel width and backspacing/offset are just starting points.

I would agree 100% w/this statement. A 275/40-18 is 26,7" tall. Very tall for a g-body front. A 255/40 yields a 26" front & would work well on a 9" wheel but that's prob the max height you'd want. Streetbu's 275/35's are about 25.6" tall. That's a taller tire. Depends on how low you want to go. I run 275/35/18... I don't know of anyone that has run that size on the front. You might be on your own to try it and see what you have to do based off what others, like myself, have done or run into.
