Well I'll definately be interested in hearing this answer. I have been looking around for different fuel injection/throttle body options there out there for the olds motors. I didn't know there were fuel injected 350 Oldsmobiles out there.

That Fuel system is the worst they ever made. It was Bosch, Even if you could get an ecu to run it ,It was a rolling molotov cocktail. Very high pressure Two fuel pump, one in the tank & one on the frame rail. They always had problems with leaks.
You can get a Edelbrock Four BBL manifold and a carb and distributor and make it run they had a lot of torque .
If it's from a FT wheel drive you will have to swap a RWD pan and oil pump pick up..It should bolt right in

'73 Cadi? that aint the originl engine.

The first mass produced domestic fuel injection system was on the 1976 Cadillac Seville. It was a system consisting of a throttle body, 8 fuel injectors mounted on a fuel rail directing fuel into the intake, a crude analog computer and various sensors. It had been developed between Bendix, Bosch and General Motors. It was at that time that it was necessary for the industry to developed specialized troubleshooting techniques and flow charts which are now taken for granted.

X2 that system was obsolete twenty years ago. Most of them caught fire and burned to the ground. 😳

funny this was brought up....there is a fuel uinjection setup for an Olds on ebay right now. I saw it last night....says something about 1967 can_am racing...looks cool but am sure he wants a fortune for it.....I'D like to have it to tinker with, but no dinero.

Those Seville's with the injected Olds 350 were made 1975-79, so you have the year wrong. That 350 is the same as any other Olds 350, meaning that 1977-newer will have windowed mains and 1/2" head bolts. The injection system is a batch fire open loop system (no O2 sensor) and an ancient ANALOG computer. Folks have had success using this intake with a modern digital computer like a MegaSquirt. The throttle body is restrictive and can be replaced with a larger TBI throttle body with the TBS injectors removed. Minor machining of the intake is needed to do this.

I saw one of these at Carlisle (spring or GM, can't remember). Didn't they make different "computers" depending on application?
