I was working at a Caddy body shop in 1975, we soon learned if you touch the gas pedal before turning the key, it was flooded to he'll right now! The only possible way to start one after that was to pull the plugs, unplug the pumps, crank it to dry out the chambers and replace the plugs after cleaning them. Happened all the time because we were all used to cold starting carbureted cars. The same basic efi was available on the Olds and Caddy engines in all Cadillacs, the Seville used the 350 olds because it was Nova based and GM wouldn't allow them to us the 472 or 500 in it though it fit fine.
