Well, I would just ground the probe, then back probe all 3 wires. I think the fuel gauge sender is beige, so it's probably not that one. Also, you will need to be under the car and ready to probe it before turning on the key. The pump will only run for around 5 seconds when the car is not running, so you will have to have someone switch the car to the on position while under it. After each test, have the key turned completely off and wait about 10 seconds to give the ECU a chance to reset. That way, you will get the prime shot turn on for the pump every time.
