Fuel sender harness location

I m starting some upgrades on my 80 malibu wagon. Eventually going LS but for now I am wondering if someone here could tell me the basic route the fuel sender wire goes. Do the wagons have a plug somewhere?

Usually, it (pink wire) rides the ribbon to the back from the fusebox, to the taillight harness. Then, it's a single wire, through a grommet to the sender.
