So I have the Aeromotive fuel tank and the cover for the fuel pump hits the fuel tank brace on drivers side. Clearly the tanks have an indentation to clear these braces so my question is do you guys see any issue with notching a piece out of the braces to clear the tank pump cover? I think it’ll be ok as the whole piece welded to the body just want some opinions/confirmation, thanks. Picture of the brace and cover on fuel tank that I’m talking about

Are you looking for a hack solution or proper?

You can trim the brace and weld a piece to close it off or just hack in some clearance.

Have you talked to Aeromotive about this. Major miscalculation on their part.

Yeah I’m going to give them a call on Monday. I did buy it because it mentioned on their site that it’s plug and play ready for install which is not the case. Thanks for your reply I just wanted to get a head start on how I could do this incase Aeromotive doesn’t value customer support and tell me theirs nothing they can do🤷‍♂️
