Anyone ever done one? I did today- at the gravesite. I lost my buddy to alcoholism last Friday. I took the 67 to the service, and his son said "Don't let me down...." It was against my better judgement to do it in the cemetery; I was going to do it out on the road. I waited until the family elders left, then gave my buddy his send off. His son and a few gearheads were there along with one of the funeral directors. I rolled out afterwards, skipping the after service refreshments, but apparently, it was a hit. It was posted on FB within the hour. My buddy wouldn't have had it any other way. Bye, Steve...

If there's anything left in us after we die, then at least he got to feel the thunder one last time.
When we lose someone in life, it's all about how we remember them and what we do in the name of their memory. Not just because of tradition but because of what it means to us. If a burnout was the right thing to do, then it was the right thing to do.
May your buddy rest in peace, Fleming.

awesome way to honor a friend! I haven't done one, but I remember watching youtube vids of the street outlaw guys doing them after Flip died.

When I go I say hold up or blow up! Get in it and hit it! Put a smile on your face I won't have it any other way I don't want people moping over me just look out for my kids when I'm gone

I remember seeing that, I'm sure Tyler would have been pleased. However, the way they were treating people that just happened to be going about their daily lives and passing through the area was less than stellar. Should have diverted traffic, IMO

Sorry about the loss of Steve, fleming
