That throttles return spring looks a little stretch to me and it should be a double spring in my opinion

That spring is fighting for its life!

Thats the beauty of owning a 700R4(me)/2004R.... the throttle valve shaft plunger spring has enough tension to pull the carburetor throttle lever closed tightly back to idle, the throttle response when taking off makes the car feel much lighter on its feet(wheels). 😀
