We used to do one way back in the day, but it turned out to be a lot of work for not a lot of return, sold them thru cafepress/print on demand and really didn't sell enough to pan out. They faded in the sun and the print quality wasn't all that great.

That said, if things go right, look for one next year, I will have more time to dedicate to these things. Have to find a supplier to custom print a batch that isn't 10K pieces large, too.

Finding a supplier hopefully won't be too hard. At work every year the boss has calendars made. I know he doesn't order anywhere near 10k. He also doesn't use his own photos, they're all stock photos so that probably helps. I'm sure there's someone out there who will do it for a reasonable price.

Yeah, that's what I used to run into. You could get those standard swag calendars with your business info printed on them, but no way to use your own pictures at all. It's been a while since I really dug into it, but I'm sure it'd be possible to get a small (~100) batch made up my own way now. The big issue with the Cafepress ones were they were just plain expensive. It was hard to ask folks to pony up $25 for a calendar, knowing I was only getting about a buck or two out of it. Then you'd only sell 20-30 or so and well, do the math. Like I said, stay tuned.

How long ago was it? How many members have joined since then? Maybe now would be a better time, I don't know. It was only an idea. I like what you guys are doing here. I was checking out G Body Magazine. I'm behind on a lot of this. I never knew this forum existed until my buddy to me about it.

ARGH the magazine site. So many projects so little time. That thing is getting badly neglected. badly. 🙁 Glad to know somebody is looking at it. 😀
