yes, everyone is different. yes, these guys/girls put a lot of time, effort and money in these cars shown above. What my problem is that as soon as someone said something about not liking them, the OP talked $hit about, in his own words, "a pos rust bucket".....if he wants to flame the post up, then I say it's fair to call him out on it. To me, IMHO, he made it personal with that post. And pontiacgp is right, that is the reason people laugh at gbodies. To me, his post wasn't a personal attack, just a statement based on what he has seen. I am sure those cars are runners; if they went to all the trouble to do this stuff to the cars, hopefully they didn't forget about the motors...but I wouldn't be caught dead in one. Just my opinion.

I agree somewhat to your comment. If you wouldn't be caught dead in one that's fine that's your opinion and I have no problem with that but that isnt a reason to talk sh*t or down someone on their personal taste.

NIce cars and thanks for joining the forum! need more members and diversity, I guess, since some people cant stand differences. 8)

see im no fan of big wheels or the themed cars BUT i give these guys all the credit they deserve jus as good as some rebuilds a car with a beefy 350(or wutever) and 15 inch rims ...thats ur taste of cars u cant BASH someone else for buildin a car that dont meet ur standards..I FOLLOW U ON UTUBE MOANE U GUYS BUILD NICE RIDES THAT WUD PROB SMOKE ALOT OF PPLS CARS ON THIS FORUM ..THATS JUS MY INPUT ON THE SITUATION....I THINK IF U DONT HAVE N E THING POSITIVE TO SAY JUS KEEP IT TO URSELF!

Good lookin Kurupt...appreciate the love and support. However I joined this forum because I am a member of a car club out here in Vegas and I have kinda made it my responsibility to put our cars on the net so people can see. My club has a total of 10 G Bodies so I thought this was a place that I can post a little bit of what we do out here. Now I know sh*t talkin comes with the territory and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if you talk sh*t expect to get sh*t talked back to you. Here in Vegas the G Body game IS ridiculous, they are a lot of cats first choice when building a car. And out here we happen to be into bigger rims and some cats like to put characters on their cars. Im sure they dont build a car to suite the needs of anyone else but their own. We hang out at the shop all day everyday working on these cars, spending countless dollars and drinking oceans of beer cause thats what we like to do. We talk sh*t all day long and no one seems to ever take it personal.. but dude with what I referred to as a "POS rust bucket" seemed a little mad and went the extra distance to say thats why people laugh a G Bodies.. so be it if thats what they like to do, but thats what haters do.. take time out of their day to hate on the next when their sh*t aint tight. Im not here to judge just came to show some love to Gbodyforum.com . Some may hate how we do it, but lots of others love it.. check out the views on my youtube and read the comments (youtube.com/biglacmoane)

I’m just an old fart that tends to ramble on so please bear with me guys. I’ve been building/racing/modifying cars and trucks since the mid 60’s and lived all over the country and a few places overseas in the process. I’ve built a fair amount of cars for myself over the years and a bunch more for customers.

I’ve seen my share of trends come and go over time, and some of them bring back fond memories and others make me shake my head and ask “what the hell were we thinking”.

It all boils down to personal taste folks and it seems that each generation and geographical location has a different spin on what is “right”. I’m no different than anybody else; I have my opinions on what I like and what does nothing for me. I’ve also been in a position more than once where somebody has a smart *ss remark, takes a cheap shot or just honestly disagrees with how I’ve built something (and much as a hate to admit it now I’ve been guilty of it myself).

At this point in my life, I tend to focus on the workmanship of the cars rather than the style or theme. Looking at a car we often tend to minimize the amount of work and dedication it has taken to get it to the point where it’s at ESPECIALLY it’s to our own personal taste. If you look beyond the style of the cars, you might be surprised at just how much has really gone into them.

I would like more info on that blue Monte. Watched that burnout video... and that thing sounds mean!

That spongebob car is just retarded. But that two tone regal is awesome.

I'm proud to say my 82'Regal ranks higher on car domain (82' Regal category) than the 82'Regal with the rip painted down the middle of the hood in that clip. I'm 3rd he is 4th in that category on car domain............. :wtf: Link in Sig..... Damn braggers.... Hate'em! Prefer the old school look.

Although I personally think that the big wheel look is a bit over the top, in this case, I am impressed. Too often I see POS buick regal 4drs with faded paint, dents...etc and its sittin on 22'' wheels... But, in this case, these guys build some quality looking rides! Nice paint, clean lines, interiors are detailed...you can see the amount of time and effort put forth. I respect anyones personal touch to their own ride, especially when they took the extra steps to make it as perfect as possible.
Hats off to that club out there is Sin City...

X1,000 there are a bunch of rides I dislike from hondas to American cars but I can, and will always, appreciate the work and time put into a persons ride. I doubt many of you will like my car, but personally i could care less. It wasnt built for YOU to like. Just like your car wasn't built for me to like. Bashing someone ride just because it isn't something you like is childish! Point blank!!!

I see a ton of work and money thrown at those AMERICAN cars so I say- THUMBS UP! Thank's for sharing that, I can appreciate the effort those guys made. That black LS looks like a wolf in sheep's clothing, wonder what's under the hood?
