Hahaha! YEA MAN!!!!
I didn't think you were actually gonna do it!

So yes, I know this is an old thread but have been looking into adding some sort of tow hook to the front of my '87 and was curious if anyone eventually went through with something like this?

I've seen a few kits online but a lot of them seem to be permanently installed with a bright red stick on the bumper for that race car "look".

My only purpose for one is to help in loading and unloading the car from a trailer with a winch. I tried hooking my winch up to it yesterday to load it onto the trailer but with the fiberglass front valance, there's just now room to do it safely without cracking it.

It would be nice to have something that I could just bolt a tow hook/ring to that would come out past the front bumper, hook the winch to, pull the car onto the trailer and then remove the hook. As it stands, I had to remove the entire front bumper cover and fiberglass piece to get everything to work.

I had the same issue on my Regal when I blew my driveshaft up on a hard launch... I had to take my grill out so I could get to a point I could hook up to tow without destroying my front airdam. I did not like that and also didn't want a Ricer setup(not to mention they are all China crap parts).

So I found this : http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cee-3440/overview/
I then fabbed up a bracket to attach it so that it was structurally strong in case I needed a tow (not a yank or grab point after crash GOD FORBID)..

I really like your car, It is turning out cool.
