G Body's - Featured in Magazines

Ya gotta remember this was before the www. and internet shaming and bullying.

It was also before original ZL1 motors were $30K-50K and people were easily impressed by what was in car magazines.

Since the internet, people aren't as impressed with 13 second cars with $30K motors in them as they used to be.

If you look at this Malibu rendering - it shows a product that was not really achievable at the time. The implied wheel diameter and width, plus aspect ratio of the tires and their width did not exist. Today they do. It was renderings like these that inspired our wagon build - I just had to wait two or three decades.

17s are the perfect proportional wheel diameter for a G-body with the right tire.

Seeing PAW in a magazine again (dispite being old issues) is awesome. The best mail order catalog ever, thicker than most telephone books (an ancient paper book listing phone numbers of people & buisness in a particular phone service area.)
