Gauge panel wiring..

Electronic Speedometer? What a great idea!! Wonder if it will work off of the stock GM signal from my 1994 4L60E/LT1 that I'm putting in my '85 MC SS? I hate to remove the special order early model 120mph Malibu police speedo that I put in it, but it's cable driven and I don't really want to use the $300 adapter box. I could get a matching tach that goes a bit higher, Man, that's got me thinking...

Oh, and on your wiring issues, I'd do like the others have said and go independent of the factory harness and use all new.

yeah its great its electronic but it is definetly not cheap,
i believe i paid just over 200 for the speedo alone plus the sender being around 40 ish..i think,.

I REALLY like the American Autowire gauge wiring kit. PN 500505 I sell em at my store for $60

I use them on most of the cars we work on here at my shop

Its really good if you ever need to remove the gauges for any reason it makes it really easy all of the wires have writing on them

How does this work exactly? im intereste din buying a kit from you, if you ship to canada ? doe you just wire it into your harness and the gauges into this harness or?

no it doesnt go through the stock harness at all. you have a harness that gets power for the gauge lights and grounds and for the gauges that need power. then another harnes that you wire all fo your sending unit wires into. Its really just to make it a much cleaner install for aftermarket gauges. I can ship to Canada
