For a gbody cutlass with a BBO, quadrajet, and stock air cleaner, which intakes are low enough to clear under stock hood without modifications? Also concerning fitment with an HEI. But I don't have to. I have access to an O4B, and Edelbrock dual plane. But they are not mine and a few hour away. Thoughts and concerns?

The toronado ones are sunken in as stated by 69hurstolds, and yeah not very common to find as well as all being cast iron and heavy. I seem to remember a thread possibly on this site or another olds forum where someone went through all that info while putting a 455 in a gbody cutlass. IIRC the average stock iron intake will just fit with a stock air cleaner (I believe he actually used an 80's HO/442 dual snorkel unit but had to use a drop base air cleaner with the edelbrock performer intake.

There is an expensive aftermarket aluminum version of the Tornado intake, shown below. Yeah either a Tornado or the stock regular iron intake with a stock air cleaner. There is an aluminum reproduction of the W30 intake as well. No one likes dealing with Mondollar Piss off the Customer Parts, which why put the other link.

Looking at those prices I understand why one would paint their Olds block gold. Gotta look the (expensive) part.

I've got a couple of those Toro intakes and they are considerably lower. Sorry, not for sale. I've read they flow pretty well though. Everything on the internet is true.
