The topic for this month will be any gbody that is turbocharged. (Selected by boatshoes) The type of engine does not matter as long as it is turbocharged.

When you post please post a little information about your setup.

P.s. watch out for the Gbody of the year poll that will be posted shortly featuring all of the winners for 2012.

Surprised we haven't seen any carbureted turbos yet!

I'm going to enter my buddy SquirrelMaster28's car since he's away from home in the army.
I know it's not mine, but whatever, he's a member too...

It's an '86 Grand National.
I'll see if I can get him to chime in because I don't know the details of all the hop ups like he does, but it scoots pretty good...
Unfortunately I don't have a pic of the Lightning Rods...

Holy crap, ive been requested! Probably been whored out a bit and I wasnt going to enter since its a basterdized car but Ill throw it it.

Always wanted a GN (actually a 86/87 silver Ttype) but most 15 year olds cant afford one. Bought the car with a 455 J headed olds that was painted canary yellow sitting on V6 frame mounts. Couldnt fit an aircleaner, alternator bracket hit the hood, a hole was literally cut in the firewall to get the distrubtor to fit, manfolds 2.25" outlet just happened to dump into a 2.5" 90 and back into the stock exhaust. No reducers, or clamps. Carpet was spraypainted black, Sun super tach 1 was scrwed to the dash, car was covered in 1/2" of tree sap. Couldnt tell if it was blue, green, grey. Found a 80 turbo monte buick 3.8 turbo and found it had 2 melted pistons, spun mains, ect. Put it together, has ported irons, 204/214 cam, worked over Q jet, .040 over bottom end, 84/85 GN headers, pypes catback, home built stainless downpipe, alky, ect. Ton of home built stuff. Only thing I didnt do was pull out a dent in the quarter when I got ran into. BTW, its also hit a deer which triggered the repaint.

4 years later its a fun driver and people think its not mine since theres literally less than 5 nice rust free G bodies in town. Its not super fast because it had 2.41's and it blows through the converter but Ive got 3.42's, posi, 200R4 and maybe a PTC 3400 stall converter to throw in if it stays out of my fireturd. It gets a solid 21 MPG, is wierder than hell, but I like it.
