I can tell by my RPO codes that my ElCamino has a 308 gear. It also has a g92 additional code for the rear end. Can someone tell me what these numbers mean?
Thanks

I don't know my RPO codes but you can get the rear end ratio code off the front side of the passenger side axle code...two letters...report back. You may need shadowy lighting and a flashlight to see it.

G92 = axle ratio peformance

What's the other "G" code?

Should also have GU4, correct? If so, you do have a 3.08 ratio.

My GP had a 2.14/G72(not 2.41 but 2.14), 3.08 ratio "is" considered performance,ouch!

That's how bad things got in the Gbody era.
