Hey guys, i have the Summit brand electric water pump SUM-314351, i think this is the 2nd year on it. Caught temp climbing on a ride today and discovered the pump wasn’t working. I got it working by bending the wires that go into the pump (factory connection) and then holding them in that position with a piece of tape to get home.

Is anyone familiar with these? I am going to try to open it up and see if i can access the internal wiring. This seems like a high quality item. I’m sure someone else is making these for Summit. Wondering if I can open up the front only and not loose any coolant??

Alright well what i found was a loose connector and also a broken brush spring. I ran a new wire (red wire) and connector, blew it all out with air, and added a zip tie on the inside as a safety, seems good now so far.
