Re: hood cowl and 3M Window weld

I would use the 3M panel bonding adhesive. windshield urethane is no where near as strong and it flexes which could cause your bodywork to crack.

Re: hood cowl and 3M Window weld

yes i was going to use that Panel Adhesive but a guy toled me this would work just as good ok... looks like ill just get the Panel Adhesive

Summit has the panel bond pretty cheap, better prices than around here.

Re: hood cowl and 3M Window weld

OK right now i am trying to get rid of the old 3M tap they put on the cowl. it came off the car fine as it was falling off all ready  But the tape on the cowl is not budging i have had lots of luck with WD40, and it's soaking in it now but that dues not seem to be working at all.
i guess my next steep is the 3M adhesive remover but I am trying to not spend any money right now...
