When I first sold the flares to FE3X Clone it was based on old pricing that the guy had from 1985!
The parts I sell from the original GM Engineering mold are these
Front airdam $850
rear valance $800
flares $375
Cowl Scoop $325

I also have the one piece FE3X original header, which when they built my car we left off due to it really was just a show piece not practical for a driver. The original header cost $5000 its one of only 2 pieces made
you can see that piece at
http://www.freewebs.com/fe3xconcepts/pu ... ffects.htm
the rear decklid extention cost over $3000

So the prices above are very reasonable. I didn't buy the molds to sell anyway I bought them to have with my FE3-X car. Bill Porterfield wanted to setup shop and build FE3-X cars once he knew I got a hold of the original molds. I have 2 complete original kits stored away for backup and maybe build a car later

i called to price the flares out 847-791-6537 wow i was a bit shocked. $375 shipped just for flares. its about $300+ for the hood scoop and $900 shipped on the hood

you should get a quote on GNX flares, pricing is pretty in line with those, plus you are getting one off proto type pieces, just like the hood, these parts are not meant to come cheap, when you make them only to order.
My car cost me over $35,000 new back in march of 1985 once the conversion was done

Exactly, I paid $400 dollars for my GNX flares on the road race regal project. When you get into custom one off pieces or limited run pieces, the price goes up. Considering the difficulty in procuring molds and laying the fiberglass, yada yada yada, 375 is very reasonable, as was the 400 I paid for the gnx ones.

What I'd like to do is make the flares out of sheet metal. That way they could be welded on and used to provide more tire clearance.
I'm still thinking of a way to do it with the fiberglass flares.
