GN Motor how much is it worth?

buddy of mine has a GN motor just sitting in his shop.....its complete from pulleys, brackets, hardness, everything u need. dont knw if he has the computer tho, and im sure it needs a total rebuild. he wants 1500 for it, is that a good deal?

If its and intercooled 86-87 setup---> grab it asap...hot air---> not so much of an interest

Seems alittle steep for an engine needing a total rebuild.

if its the intercooled one its worth nothing.. there's a reason they used it for 2yrs... yuck.. as a matter a fact, i don't want him to have to look at cluttering his shop, where's it at? i'll come get it today

depending on the shape that's about right if its the intercooled setup.

i've seen this setup/motors running go for $4,000 that were not even freshened up.
