GN springs in Malibu

Hey guys,

Just picked up some springs out of a grand national the other day. Stock springs from a V6. I have a V8 Malibu and I'm sure the back springs will be fine, but I'm concerned about the rates for the front. Any info on this? Thanks in advance!

the stock GN springs are 420 Lbs so that's the same as a G body with a v8...but unless you know what condition they are in a relatively new, with the cost of new springs being reasonable and the time and effort to change the front springs I would go with new ones from moog

They are basically brand new, so I'm sure they will be fine. Thanks for the info

I think that spring being the highest spring rate they used in G bodies must be part of the F 41 suspension package
