hey, my name's chris and i've been the proud owner of a 1979 el camino for the last 6 years. in 2 weeks i'll finally be able to put the car on the road and enjoy it. it's been a big learning experience, this car was my entry to wrenching and muscle cars. i always have alot of questions so hopefully there's lots of answers, lol. here's a pic of my car last summer, i don't have any recent pictures, but i'll take some on the weekend and post them!

awesome! im digging the black and orange! mean mean looking car!

cheers! i've never been a membre on this site before, i just stumbuled on this site tonight.

things i've done as of '09 are: i built (with the help and guidance of a machinist/fabricator) and installed a full aluminium dash, and my gauges (which i have a couple questions about) installed a ratchet shifter, finishing up some electrical work, gathering parts for my very first full engine build and finishing some weatherstripping.
