Got another Gbody

[1979Calais]

On my lunch break today I went to look at another Cutlass. Runs good, but the paint is not so good. I end up buying it, but I will be picking it up this Sunday. I will be taking my 79 Calais to Gbodyparts in NC to get soem work done and then I can park this one in my driveway without hearing my girl mouth. Here the craigslist link to it.

It looks like a beauty from the pictures, but it needs a new paint job. Looks like I painted it and I never painted a car in my life. I dont believe I will do anything big to it, other than repair whats wrong with it now.

I looked at 2 before I seen this one. I went there with the money in my pocket, because I did not want to leave without it being mines. One was of a car with a V6 with only 2k miles on it (more like 100k). The other looked like bondo was on the roof (cracks were 2inch deep). I wonder what caused this in the picture. I want to buy that one two, but dont know what caused it to crack like that.

The headliner was removed and I did not see and damage. So in other word I t was not a big problem?

That's what I was thinking. It has some Weld racing wheels on it.

I guess its about time that I post pictures of my 78 Cutlass. Front seat does not look as good at the back.
