got boost ? 383 built stroker

So I am not sure what brand or what to buy , turbo ,supercharger, Paxton , vortec any insight would greatly appreciate.

As you most likely know, the turbo is going to require custom exhaust manifolds and a ton of tubing. IT will be more efficient and better for daily driving. The Supercharger will require you to change the intake, and your hood. Superchargers aren't as efficient and are more oriented for Drag racing.

As for what brands, I really can't telly ya. main thing is to shop for a power adder that fits the specs of your engine.

A nice 142 or 172. Will boost about 6pounds. Instant torque and reliable. Plus there easy to setup. My buddies 383 with 142.

Turbo is the most efficient because it doesn't require power to make power. It's exhaust drive so there is no parasitic draw like a crank driven super charger. Depending on how much stuff you have but even a budget DIY kit can run 2-3K dollars. I am gathering parts to turbo a 350 SBC in my 79 Malibu wagon.

The best think you can do is read "build" and see what is best for you. I learn a lot on www.theturboforums.com
