Got my Hurst shifters today. Scored the shifters (in excellent shape) the cable and all trans brackets for $350. I dont think the guy knew what he had to let it go that cheap. Look forward to the conversion. I posted a pic of the cable routing to the transmission since I have searched for some reference with no avail. So now there are some. Ill post pics as I go.

Toby,

It looks like your missing a few brackets for those to finish the install. I was also missing them and purchased them from this guy on oldsgmail.com

http://store.oldsgmail.com/store8.htm

There is also a write up there on how to convert.

Man, does he really charge 40$ each bracket, not bitching but contemplating making my own.
LOL quite a few other people that I've spoken to that has lightning rods and are gonna dovthe conversion has said that too.
I would make my own but their isn't anyone near me that has lightning rods installed so I would have no way of getting the specs on the brackets to fabricate my own.

I have just fabricated my own and will document what it takes to get the fit, Then go to our supplier and have them mass produced.
