Hello all. I recently got my COMP CAMS kit in the mail including the cam, valve stem seals, valve springs n retainers, timing chain, and lifters. This is the kit that I got: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cca-k92-203-4/overview/

Is that cam good for a mild rebuild Buick 350? I was inspired to do this by Horsepower TV doing a buildup of a Buick 350 a few years ago, and for the most part I am doing what they did, trying to see if I get the same power gains. Minor differences include not having the heads done *yet*, cast iron 4bbl intake, an Olds Q-Jet, and no headers. Manifolds for now, stock timing cover, and rockers, etc. They used a Thumpr cam from COMP with .295/.313 adv duration and .517/.502 lift.
This is my first full on engine build, and I wanna be sure that I didn't get anything to aggressive or too tame so it wont idle like crap, or have something penetrate something else.

That kit should be good. Not too mild or too wild.
