What about putting a Jeep section in this forum or open forum for Jeeps. I posted a thread in a "Jeep" forum a week ago about an issue with a transfer case. It has has 116 views and not 1 measly reply. Must be a Jeep thing and I sure do not understand.....🤔

I had the same issue with Dakota forums. I just fixed a grinding banging noise in my 4wd. It was a wasted double Cardan ball joint, the U joints were fine. I know some Jeeps also had these.

GBF already has a Jeep section....here it is...

Post in there. You ingrate! 🙂

j/k

there must be some mistake cause that is the forum I joined, I figured i would give them another chance.....😉

this will help you out dealing with ingrates like myself.....

hm. not one of my sites, but did you introduce yourself and post a bunch of pix first?

J/K 😀 You could always post in the "non-g projects" section here...

I'll add it to the list of possible projects. I know there are a ton of 4x4/jeep sites and not sure a new one could make a dent.

I think I know what Steve is getting at. All the Jeep forums are lame as can be. Mostly parking lot off-roaders that only own Jeeps for the image. Practically every post is how to stuff gigantic mudders on and lift it up several feet. Not a shred of actual mechanical know-how. I know because I have an old Jeep and the forums are useless. I'm thinking he wished there was a Jeep forum composed of mecahanical supermen like we have here on GBF. I would be afraid that if there was a Jeep section it would attract the same losers as the other sites. I guess our non-G-body section is better than any formal Jeep site.

Lots of knowledge at pirate4x4.com, but you'll need a pretty good flame suit as newbie there.
