Great Weeekend

I went camping last weekend for the first time in a couple of years. My son and his wife and their two boys came out on Saturday afternoon. While we were all sitting there and have a few burgers and beers there were people going by and some stopped to say how much they liked my car. Then about 1/2 later another guy went by and said my car looked great and asked me if I was putting it in the car show
My son's wife could not understand why I had painted a matte color when I painted it. I have told her a few times that not a day goes by that someone doesn't say something about my car and she thought I was joking. She has a new Explorer and my son has the BMW 335xi. She was confused why people would just stop to comment on my old car when her Explorer or my son's BMW never gets that attention. After all my car is just old and it makes noise and the worst thing is you have actually drive my car to make it go.
I don't have a big ego but I have to admit I had a good laugh over this and it did make me feel good... 😀

I know its a great feeling, I have people all the time ask me if I want to sell it. I have so many memorys with it, I helped my dad build it! I was 10 when we started my dad was so proud of her. she ran strong too! It was handed down to me after he past away in 06, now I 25 and it feel like it was yesterday when my dad and I was at the street races till 3 in the morning LOL
