i was at the Super Chevy Show this weekend and met up with Brian on his inaugural car show with his wagon. the really cool part though was that Brian got a line on a near flawless tailgate over in the swap meet area and let me buy it! a totally awesome thing to do. i also got a line on a right front fender from Jim, Rich and Mike at M&M. that would mean i would then have all 3 pieces i thought would be hardest to find!

Brians friend Josh brought the 86 El Camino Brian built and was runner up in STREET CLASS while Brians wagon won top honors in CONVERSION CLASS! and my El Camino was a TOP TEN EDITORS choice in street class. all in all a pretty good weekend!!

enjoy this vid - the wagon is WAY cool.

Hey Ed,
Glad to hear that you had a good time, and it was productive as far as finding parts for your wagon. That's cool.
Sorry I was unable to make it. It would have been nice meeting up with you guys.

Congrats in being picked for Top Ten Editors Choice. 8) I'm sure there was no shortage of nice El Caminos in attendance.

Thanks for posting the video Ed....very nice stuff there. Congrats on the editors choice!

I have had parts dealings with Brian and I do agree he's a great guy to not only deal with but chat to as well.

The wagon looks great and that Camino 8) looks like he does some very nice work!

Ed,
I actually saw a posting on the local Craigslist mentioning the El Camino meet at Gainesville Raceway. I saw some pics posted from last years event(I think) and saw your El Camino there in the mix.
I'll definitely be there.

I will check out the videos now..thanks man!

Hey Ed,
Not sure about Friday night, but Saturday I'll be there for sure...unless I'm stuck painting my car :?

Ed,
I plan to show up and hang out for a while, but I'm going to pass on the BBQ. I'm on a vegetarian diet...don't hold it against me. I loved BBQ just as much as the next guy.
