Grill ?

I am looking for a grill for my car anybody know where i can get one upper and lowers? Or where can i get it redone? i am also looking for the lower front molding with the opera light cutout? i cant seem to find any here in any junkyard. Thanks in advance

I would monitor eBay. Over a 6 month period I find nearly everything for my 78 GP. Just doing a quikc search now:

Thanks for the link. i really need the top grill. i pulled one off a car at the junkyard a while back that was in really good shape. I hung it on the garage wall but it fell off when i was messing with my sound system in my jeep talk about being pissed off :evil: I haven't found one since.

You might be in luck I spotted a set of upper and lower grills in the salvage yard here a week or so ago. I think it was a 82 or 83 GP.

Luckily, these are not rare cars yet. They were made in large enough numbers and were well enough built that they still have plenty of parts available. I saw 3 or 4 GP's the last time I was junkyarding, and some of them had their grilles intact. Hang in there, I am sure one will turn up if you are persistent.

Thanks i am still looking for a real clean one. I hopefully can find both upper and lowers. I really want the 84 and up that have the larger crosshatch pattern.

I currently have 2 top grilles for a 1984 GP, one that is on my car, and one i have to replace the original one which has a slight crack in the middle, not noticeable but i found one to replace it. If you want to wait until i replace the original one, i will sell you it for cheap $$ It may be a few weeks until i get my car out of storage though. I agree with you about the 84 and 85 grilles, i like the 84 a lot better.
There may be a lot of GP's down in Florida but up here in new england they are all but gone! The last time i went to the junkyard you could count them on 1 hand if you were lucky.

Let me know and pm me whenever your ready. I agree i have been going to junkyards around here and in the last 6 months I've only come across one GP. Now that's sad :lol: I also am looking for the lower front fender chrome moldings with the cutouts for the clear lights that turn on when the signals are turned on. Pm me if anybody happens to run across them.....
