Hey Steve,
Yep we got hit pretty hard, but my wife and I are fortunate enough to live in what is referred to around here as "The Hospital Grid".
We are right next door to the local hospital,Valley Regional,so the when the power does go off Nova Scotia Power usually do their best to get it up and running ASAP.
So we lost power for a bit less than 24 hours, but there are still over 200,000 people without power.
It sure was windy and wet on Saturday though, lots of branches broken and downed trees and flooding.
My Shelter Logic car shelter is still standing, its amazing what that car tent has stood up to over the 6-7 years that I've had it.
